A brief overview of the Love Collection.

Chakras are energy centers within the body that guide how life force moves through us. The word chakra comes from Sanskrit, meaning “wheel” or “disk.” Their energy shapes our perception of life experiences and influences our emotions, creativity, intuition, and sense of balance.

Chakras are often referred to by their Sanskrit names because some of the earliest teachings were written in ancient Indian texts. But the idea of life energy isn’t unique to one culture. In China, it’s called Qi (Chi). In Egypt, Sekhem. In Yoruba traditions of West Africa, it’s Àṣẹ (Ashé).

Love isn't just about heart chakras and romance.  It is woven into the fabric of energy itself. The love we exchange with ourselves, others and everything around us shows up differently based on the characteristics of each chakra.  Here are some examples of how love expresses itself through chakras.

 

Root Chakra (Muladhara)

Root chakra love expresses as safety, belonging, and trust we share with others and the Earth itself.

Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)

Sacral chakra love becomes pleasure, intimacy, and emotional connection. It’s the joy of shared energy and creation.

Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)

Solar Plexus love is expresses as care for what we manifest into the world, self-respect and personal empowerment. It is love in motion through will and purpose.

Heart Chakra (Anahata)

At this merging point of physical and spiritual, love becomes unconditional and compassionate, a harmonious integration of self.

Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)

Love listens and speaks through the Throat chakra.  It is expressed as perceptive listening and clear, truthful words that speak life and love into the world.

Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)

At the Third Eye chakra, love expands into understanding and insight. It perceives the divine within yourself, others, and all that
exists.

Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)

In the Crown chakra, love transcends the personal. It becomes pure awareness, existence without separation, where everything is love.

Correspondences are objects whose vibrations and characteristics are compatible with the energy of a chakra.  That relationship creates a synergy that can be used to balance chakra energy like a pitch fork is used to tune a piano.  Here are some examples of correspondences that facilitate love.

Element: Water (emotion, flow, empathy) and Air (connection, understanding)

Primary colors: Pink (unconditional love, compassion), Green (balance, harmony, healing), White (divine love, purity).

Herbs: Rose, Hawthorn, Lavender, Jasmine, Damiana, Chamomile, Basil, Cacao.
